Elizabeth Lopez, 43, of Brownsville, Texas devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. She is preceded in death by her parents Isabel Lopez and Maria Guadalupe Leal; siblings Gilberto Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Robert Lopez and Sandra Lopez.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Deziree Garza; siblings Lucio Lopez, David Lopez, Martin Lopez, Juanita Lopez, Dora Lopez and Rosemary Lopez.
Elizabeth Lopez worked in the medical field for over 15 years as a CNA and medical assistant. She loved caring for her patients and enjoyed helping people. She was loved by many and made many friends along the way. Elizabeth was a very happy person and had a very kind spirit. She enjoyed spending her time with her family and grandson. She will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. (956) 350-8485

Estimada familia Lopez. Mi mas sentido pesame. La muerte de un ser querido es uno de los golpes mas grandes que experimenta la familia y amigos intimos. No hay duda que durante esos tiempos tristes y dificiles, todos necesitamos consuelo. La biblia dice que nuestro creador es el “Dios de todo consuelo”. En 2 Corintios 1:4 dice que el nos consuela “para que nosotros podamos consolar a los que se hallan en cualquier clase de tribulacion”. Nos quiere tanto que nos promete una resurreccion en Juan 5:28,29. Queria compartir este mensaje de consuelo con su familia.
