Napoleon Arizmendi, 92, the son of Manuel Arizmendi and Josefa Godoy died Friday, June 2, 2017 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville following a long illness. He leaves his wife Dora Arizmendi; his sons Napoleon (Cynthia) Arizmendi, Carlos (Nellie) Arizmendi, Humberto (Sandra) Arizmendi, his daughters Dora (Ernesto) Abrego, Ana (Joe) Ortiz, Josie (Henry) Smith, Lupita (Albert) Escobedo, Juanita (Felipe) Zepeda; 21 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He has earned his wings, he is now an angel guiding our way, may he rest in peace. Love you always.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a funeral mass held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, with burial to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos. (956) 350-8485

Estimada familia Arizmendi. Nada es comparable al profundo dolor de perder a un ser querido. Se siente un vacio y una tristeza muy grande pero podemos encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia. El salmista imploro a Dios: “Sirva tu bondad amorosa por favor, para consolarme” (Sal. 119:76). Una manera muy destacada como nuestro Padre celestial nos conforta es dandonos animo y guia. El Salmo 119:105 dice que su palabra es una lampara y una luz que ilumina nuestro camino. Le animamos a encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia.
