Jose “Joe” Jacinto Salinas


Jose “Joe” Jacinto Salinas, 58, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted brother, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 2, 1959.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jacinto and Maria C. Salinas and his aunt Lucinda Salinas.

Left to cherish his memory is his girlfriend Lujuana Tabares; siblings Francisco (Rosie) Salinas, Dora Sauceda, Mary Lucio and Janie (Bob+) Hughes; nieces and nephews Becky, Emmanuel (Bea) Salinas, Juan (Gloria) Salinas Jr., Cindy, Diana Sauceda, Eddie, Andy, Keynan (Tony) Lucio, Robert Jr., Stephen, and Jennipher Hughes; great nieces and nephews Sarah Trevino, Eloraha, and Micah Mae Enriquez, Joshua and Kassie Sauceda.

Joe was a proud veteran who served in the Army from August 1978 – 1981.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with military honors at 6:30 p.m. and a chapel service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will conclude at the end of the memorial. (956) 350-8485

    Estimada familia Salinas. Nada es comparable al profundo dolor de perder a un ser querido. Se siente un vacio y una tristeza muy grande pero podemos encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia. El salmista imploro a Dios: “Sirva tu bondad amorosa por favor, para consolarme” (Sal. 119:76). Una manera muy destacada como nuestro Padre celestial nos conforta es dandonos animo y guia. El Salmo 119:105 dice que su palabra es una lampara y una luz que ilumina nuestro camino. Le animamos a encontrar consuelo en el mensaje de la biblia.
