Manuel Cisneros Jr., 77, of Brownsville, TX, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2017, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville with his loving wife Amalia by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Cisneros Sr. and Concepcion Reyna de Cisneros, sister Ma de la Luz Cisneros de Montemayor. Left to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years Amalia Rodriguez Cisneros. Daughters Melissa Cantu (Gaspar), Christina Barreda, sons Manuel Ian Cisneros (Sandra) and Jeremy Enrico Cisneros (Patty). Grandchildren: Gaspar Jr., Patrick A and Malerie H Cantu; Alec M, Eric A and Ryan M Barreda; Iandra A, Alexandra I and Adrian A. Cisneros; Evan W Cisneros. Great-granddaughter Princess P Cantu. Sister Olga Gutierrez and many nieces and nephews. A pillar in the fashion community over 30 years, known by many as Meme owner of Rags to Riches. He served for his country in the United States Air Force. Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2017, from 1-9 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 2035 from Brownsville. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
