Roberto “Betin†Lozano Jr., 45, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted, husband, father, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on June 2, 1971.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Juan Cruz and Maria Lozano and also by his maternal grandparents Inocencio Duarte and Maria Gomez.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Nohemi Gonzalez, parents Robert L. Cruz and Elia Duarte; children Roberto Lozano III, Giovannelli Lozano, Alexander Lozano and Roberto Azael Lozano; siblings Lorena Lozano, Janet L. Lopez, Cynthia Lozano, Elia (Hugo) Avendano, Esmeralda Lozano, Edgar Lozano, and Luis Carlos Cruz.
Roberto or Betin as everyone that knew him called him, was an honest hard-working man. A man of integrity that recognized that the Lord Almighty was in control of his life. He loved his children deeply and did the impossible for them. He enjoyed barbequing and gathering the family after the Sunday service. He is very much loved and will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. There will be a chapel service held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
