Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Magdelena Wheat, her children, Andrew Moncada, Noemi Matos, Libby Moncada, and her siblings: Martha Gonzalez, Marcy Robles, Eva Wheat, Eduardo Sanchez, and Carmela Flores.
Adela was a strong woman. Strong in her faith, her will, and most fiercely in her love for her children. She loved her job, teaching and caring for children across several BISD schools over the past fifteen years. In her pastime she loved to garden at her home; every Spring time surrounded by flowers and butterflies. She not only sowed seeds in the earth but also into the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at, International Christian Center, located at 2855 Paredes Line Road, on Saturday November 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers an online memorial fund has been set up in her honor: bit.ly/adelamoncadamemory
