Maria del Rosario Perez, 53, of Brownsville, TX, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2016, at her residence surrounded by loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar A. Perez and Margarita C. Perez, her siblings, Aurelio, Raul, Carlos, and Rosa.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Hector Peña, her children Sergio (Jade) Perez, Juan (Lucy) Perez, Cristina (Kevin) Colorado. Also surviving are her grandchildren along with numerous other family members. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from 1-9 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Brownsville, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 p.m. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10 a.m., with burial to follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
