Mrs. Mendoza, my condolences to you and your family. I knew Joe in high school and worked with him on occasion as an adult. Your husband was a good man that I had the privilege of counting as a friend.

In behalf of myself and the entire Pineda family we want to express our most deepest and humble condolences to the Mendoza family on their loss. I met Joe back in 2001 when I first started with BISD as a Police Officer coming from the Sheriff’s Department not knowing how things worked here with BISD or who to go to if you needed something done. Joe was a good person, friend and someone to go to if you needed something done or taken care of at Porter High School no matter what. Joe I admired you deeply and you will be missed greatly and never forgotten. You were a friend and a good co-worker sadly you will be missed but I know that God has a place for you because if he would have not called upon you, good bye my friend may you rest in peace.
