Guillermo “Willie” Escobedo Garza, 66, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 17, 2016. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Rebeca Garza, his children, grandchildren, and the rest of his loving family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 1-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will be a chapel service held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 12 noon with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. (956) 350-8485

    Willie was a good man and friend.We first met at Cummings junior High. I an saddened to hear of his passing at this late date.
