Robert Stephen Hughes

Robert S. “Bob” Hughes of Rancho Viejo, TX devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, August 15, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving children and wife. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 31, 1958.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Janie and children Robert, Jr., Stephen and Jennipher Hughes.
Parents: Bill and Gloria Hughes, Siblings: Laurie, Bill, Jr., Michael (Jody), David (Barb) and Dan (Mary) Hughes. Nieces and nephews: Jackie(Scott) Gress, Michael, Jr., Jessica, Daniel and Travis Hughes.
Bob loved fishing, golfing and hunting with his brothers and buddies. He touched a lot of lives and loved his family and friends dearly. He started and owned Turn-Key Warehousing, Inc. in the early 90’s and it is still running to this day.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church located at 1015 E. Van Buren, Harlingen, TX 78550. Reception and celebration of his life will follow at 918 E. Van Buren St., Harlingen, TX. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory of Brownsville.
