Felipa R. Martinez, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Linares Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio B. Martinez; son, Jose Antonio Martinez; parents, Juan L. Rodriguez and Manuela Almaguer Rodriguez; siblings Isidro (Matilde) Rodriguez, Olga R. (Jesus) Lozano. Zenaida (Jose) Valdez, Ofelia Rodriguez, Sylvia Rodriguez, and Manuel (Teresa) Rodriguez.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved niece and caregiver, Olga Lozano, brother Hugo (Minerva) Rodriguez Almaguer and various nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 1-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
