Ninfa (Pacheco) Middleton

Ninfa (Pacheco) Middleton, 57, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 27, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville on March 10, 1959.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Minerva Pacheco; her husband, Paul Middleton; her children, Ellie Middleton and Nick Middleton; her daughter-in-law, Laura Middleton; and her siblings and their spouses: Paty Pacheco, Johnny and Lety Olvera, Carlos and Laura McDermott, Cesar and Roberta Pacheco, Melissa Garcia and Greg and Norma O’Neil. Serving as pallbearers are Joe Lopez, Joe Zayas, Rusty Brechot, Robert Ostos, Frank Parker Jr. and Loren Miller. Honorary pallbearers include Luke Fruia and Mark Johnson.
Ninfa, a graduate of Villa Maria High School and Stephen F. Austin State University, devoted her life to her family and friends and touched the lives of countless students as a special education counselor with BISD. She loved to bake, watch the sunrise at the beach and loved fishing and being with her dog Pili.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, TX and the rosary is scheduled for 4 to 5 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at Our Heavenly Father Catholic Church, 9178 Tomas Cortez Jr. St., Olmito, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to Our Heavenly Father in Ninfa’s name.
