Romana Rodriguez, 95, of Brownsville, TX, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Erasmo Guevara. Left to cherish her memory are loving grandchildren, Jesus (Lucila) Guevara, Armando (Connie) Guevara, Jose (Cindy) Guevara, Sergio Guevara, and Sandra Guevara; Daughter-in-law, Celia Guevara; Brother, Juan Casanova; and numerous grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Romana dedicated most of her free time to her beautiful garden and loved to sit outside on her porch doing crafts, waiting for the bbq to be ready. She was a loving and caring person and always welcomed the company of family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 1-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. There will be a Chapel service at Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
