Eric Michael Perez

Eric Michael Perez of Brownsville, TX, beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin and friend,entered into eternal rest, on Wednesday June 29, 2016, in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Brownsville, TX, on October 7, 1993. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Enrique Leal. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Marie C. Leal and Mark A.(Hilda) Perez; his sisters, Andrea Alexis Perez and Valeria Perez; Paternal grandparents, Alex F. and Edna R. Perez; Maternal grandmother Hercilia Leal as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Eric was a Homer Hanna H.S. class of 2012 graduate, where he participated in his two favorite sports, football and Track. He loved all things outdoors, hunting, hanging out with friemds, and his horse “Ranger.” Although his time with us was cut short, he will be forever missed and remembered by all those whose life he touched with his smile, friendliness and hilarious humor.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 4, 2016, from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Brownsville, with a recitation of the Holy rosary to be held at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TX.
