Socorro (Trevino) Roussett


Socorro (Trevino) Roussett, 90, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Alfred Roussett Jr.; parents: Quirino Trevino and Feliciana Trevino; her siblings: Ester Garza, Tomasa Alcala, Alfonso Trevino, Oralia Rodriguez, Eben Trevino, Amelia Gonzalez, and Berta Pena; and one grandson: Russell Eugene Roussett Cox.
Mrs. Roussett is survived by her children: Rosie (Dionicio) Roussett Solis, Irma (Dionicio) Roussett Galvan, Alfred (Diana) Roussett III, Oscar (Odilia) Roussett, grandchildren: Richard D. Solis, Janice M. Medina, Steven D. Solis, Celina Cortinas, Michael R. Galvan, Jo Anna Roussett, George Roussett, Ashley Roussett, Mark Roussett Cox, Oscar Rene Roussett, and Gregg Roussett. She is also survived by her grandsons, grand daughters, great grandsons, and great grand daughters.
A big thank you to Dr. Antonio M. Diaz Jr. who took care of our mother for over 30 years, to the very last day of her life. We will forever be grateful.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be: Oscar Rene Roussett, Jay Medina, Greg Roussett, Michael R. Galvan Jr., Steven Daniel Solis Jr., Jay Ryan Medina, Jay Medina, and Jose Gonzalez. Honorary pallbearers will be: Stephanie Galvan, George E. Roussett II, Kimberly Galvan, Sarah Medina, Cameron Roussett Cox, Dion Cortinas, and Ally Cortinas. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Buena Vista Mausoleum. Services will conclude there. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. (956) 350-8485

    My deepest condolence to your family loss your beautiful family member. I have found comfort in bible it has given me hope that I can see my love one again. I hope it will bring you comfort also.
