Yahaira Alvarado Zamora, 19, of Brownsville, TX, went to be with our Lord, on March 16, 2016 at MD Anderson hospital in Houston, TX surrounded by loving family. She was born in Brownsville, TX, on November, 27, 1996. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Enrique Alvarado and Antonio G. Zamora. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Hector O. (Luz Maria) Zamora, her siblings, Enrique Alvarado, Hector A. Zamora, and Lillian (William) Fortescue. Also surviving are her grandmothers, Reyna Alvarado and Conradina Zamora, along with her uncles and aunts, Lourdes (Jose Torres) Alvarado, Luis E. Alvarado, Pedro Lopez, Manuel E. Alvarado, Anthony (Isabel) Zamora, Cynthia (Jesse) Duran and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held today, March 21, 2016 from 3-9 pm, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Brownsville, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10 am at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Brownsville. Burial will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville.
