Leonides Pardo Sr.

Leonides Pardo Sr., 74, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 19, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Benito, Texas on September 5, 1941.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Maria and Felix Pardo.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Sofia Ogas, children; Kristina (Frank) Lopez, Esmeralda (Javier) Saldivar, Gracie (Alex) Hernandez, Carolina (Martin) Marin, and Leonides Pardo Jr., siblings; Federico (Ofelia) Pardo, George (Gloria) Pardo, Guadalupe (Isaias+) Infante, Adelina (Abel+) Gomez, Palmira (Gustavo+) Salazar, Ninfa (Richard+) Barrios, Amelia Rangel, and Benilde (David) Solis, 15 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was a loving father who loved fishing, going to the beach, singing and hanging around with friends and family. He was very proud of his military service for his country. He was very hard working carpenter and mechanic and always lived life to the fullest.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 1-9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with services concluding at the end of the mass.
