Rene Alberto Ramos

Rene Alberto Ramos (musician) was born on November 6, 1981 and entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the age of 34.
Rene was a person who valued his family and friends. A genuine person with a gentle spirit. A creative genius who loved his profession at UTRGV as a video producer since May of 2003. His passion for music and movies were demonstrated each day of his life. Words are not big enough to explain the grand person that he was in life and forever will be in our hearts. He carried a warm heart with a quick wit and a “hint†of sarcasm that made to be a one of a kind sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; Margarito and Maria Magdalena Silva, Domingo and Rufina V. Ramos, and a nephew; Jacob Eliazar Saenz.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Ramiro and Estela Ramos, siblings; Blanca (E.R.) Saenz, Ramiro Ramos Jr., Cynthia A. Ramos, sister in law; Luz Noelia Ramos, nieces and nephews; Jalexandrea C. Ramos, Jarred A. Saenz, Nicolas Ramos and many loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Ramiro Ramos Jr., Jessie Ruedas, Jorge Saenz, Fernando Garcia, Raul Davila, Juan Ramirez Jr., Carlos Garza, Sergio Luna, and Rafael Medrano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 1-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will be a chapel service held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. (956) 350-8485
