Matilde Oscar Campos, 48, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born in January 24, 1967 in Brownsville, Texas to Arturo and Josefa Deimes Campos.
He is preceded in death by his father; Arturo Campos and a sister; Hilda Vega Campos.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother; Josefa Deimes Campos, siblings; Rosie (Jerry) Ingle, Sylvia (Daniel) Montoya, Dorina (Dr. Israel) Najera, Arturo (Thanh) Campos, Hilda+ (Boris) Vega, Josie (Leo) Villarreal, Jaime (Sylvia) Campos, Arnoldo (Leticia) Campos, Hector (Isabel) Campos, Sandra Campos, and Orlando Campos. His close friends; Hector Zamora, Leticia Delgadillo, and Mandy Aguilar, god-mother; Victoria Deimes, paternal Aunt Minerva Hasfjord, and also surviving numerous relatives.
He never met a stranger and was a very sociable fellow. His culinary Texas barbecue was his specialty. His love of family and friends were demonstrated by always ready to “lend a handâ€. He was very passionate about fishing, hunting and a fan of the Dallas Cowboy Team.
The family will like to thank Dr. Imperial and staff of New Horizon Medical, Dr. Sharma and staff, Texas Oncology and Texas Behavioral Health System, Valley Regional Medical Center and Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 1-9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Services conclude at the end of the evening.
