Maria Cerrillo Espinosa, 91, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Andres and Virginia Espinosa, husband; Jesus Cerrillo, one son; Jose Cerrillo, grandson; Jose Cerrillo Jr., and son in-law; Silvano Garza.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Guadalupe (Dionicio) De Leon, Minerva Garza, Maria Luisa (Jesse) Anguiano, Sylvia C. Moreno, Lydia C. (Joe) Olvera, Olga Serrano, Oscar Cerrillo, Eva Cerrillo, 33 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 1-9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Oscar Cerrillo, Joe Olvera, Dionicio De Leon Sr., Jesse Anguiano Sr., Joseph Cerrillo, Frank Moreno Jr., honorary pallbearers will be Dionicio De Leon Jr., Jose Anguiano, Danny De Leon, Desi De Leon, Jesse Anguiano Jr., and Henry Leo Garza. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.
