Lydia Agüero Treviño, 80, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on May 7, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 18, 1942.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roberto Treviño and Margaret Mena Chapa; two brothers Roberto and Mario Treviño.

Left to cherish her memory is her children Esmeralda (Hector†) Betancourt, Mario Gonzalez, Adriana Gonzalez, Sylverio Agüero, Claudia Treviño, Rolando (Perla) Treviño, Brenda T. (Miguel) Bridges, and Tony (Laura) Agüero; as well as her siblings Victor G. (Rita) Jackson and Margarita Treviño; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
