I am genuinely at a loss for words. My sincerest condolences to John Paul and his family. Santa was truly a wonderful woman, that had the monumental task of raising a boy into a man. The memories I have, having grown up alongside John Paul are as clear as day. I can still hear her talking about her day and getting after us for being the mischievous boys we were. She worked hard for everything she had and made sure John Paul needed nothing. Her greatest joy was watching him grow and accomplish his goals. She loved him like no other. He was her world, and she was happiest with him.
Looking back at those times and all the memories, I never realized, that those were the good ‘ol days. I am saddened by this news, but am grateful for having known such a hardworking, loving, and caring mother. Maria Santa Haley, may you Rest in Peace you were always loved and will be forever remembered.
