Silvano “Tito” Luis Amaya

Silvano “Tito†Luis Amaya, age 74, passed away on March 5, 2023 in his home.  He was born on August 25, 1948, in Bayview, Texas to Silvano and Maria Antonia Amaya.

Tito is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jamie Hudson Amaya, his daughter, Veronica Antonia Amaya, his son, Silvano Daniel Amaya, daughter in law, Cynthia Amaya, his sister Rosalinda Amaya Sullivan, brother in law Tom Sullivan, and his brother Jesus Amaya and sister in law, Carmen Amaya.  He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters Maria Luisa Ybarra, Oliva Amaya Salinas, Terri Parker, Raquel Rodriguez, and Mary Martha Miller.

Tito had a passion for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 3PM – 6PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.

    My uncle Tito was one of a kind and will be missed. He loved his family and his horses and was a true cowboy. May he rest in peace.
