Aracely Silva

Aracely Silva, 57, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her father Manuel Ruiz.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Adelaido Silva; her mother, Petra Ruiz; two daughters, Anahi Silva and Angelica (Rafael) Silva-Garza ; her siblings, Oscar Ruiz, Manuel Ruiz, Jacobo Ruiz, Antonio Ruiz, Ernesto Ruiz, Sergio Ruiz, Maria Martinez, Diana Estrada, and Elizabeth Avila.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10AM to 1PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 12PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2PM at Guillen Community Cemetery. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop.

    My deepest condolences. We’re never prepared to lose our mother’s, but know that she loved you dearly and that she was proud of all of your accomplishments. Her love and strength will carry you through the days ahead. May the sweet memories sustain you. You’re wingladies are only a call away.

    My sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. May your shared memories sustain you through the loss and this time of reflection. There will come a time when you can look back and not cry, but smile, feel her presence and rejoice in all she did to nurture you.

    We are praying for you all to have comfort and feel His grace in your life. Losing someone like Aracely is terrible loss but knowing that she is rejoicing in the presence of God will bring everyone peace.
