Charles Ray Flores

Charles Ray Flores, 42, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Juan and Marciana Balli.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Claudia Flores; children Elijah Flores, Elaina Flores, and Emery Flores; mother Modesta Balli; father Victor (Elvia) Flores Sr.; brothers Victor John (Mindy) Flores, and Mark (Amy) Flores.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 1 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation continues on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel service will be 12 PM with burial to follow at 1 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas. (956) 350-8485

    My condolences to the Flores family. Charles was a good friend to everybody. Always willing to help anyone who needed it. The world was a better place when he was in it.

    Mr. Flores was a wonderful educator and was a very nice and cordial gentleman. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to have met him and worked alongside a kind hearted and humble man. May you rest in eternal peace Mr. Flores. May our great father in heaven bless his family and watch over them. I will continue to pray for you.

    My condolences to the Flores family. Charles was an excellent co-worker and employee. He went above and beyond with every single task given to him and executed with skill and compassion. He loved his family above all else and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

    Mr.Flores, I will miss you so much. Thank you for being an amazing teacher, and also a great friend. You were the best teacher from Veterans High School. You were the only teacher who went above and beyond. Thank you for our talks and all the advice you gave me. I will miss our talks and I know you are in a better place. I will never forget every Friday we used to see “Undercover Boss”. I would like to thank you for helping me find a job at UTRGV. Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart.     I offer my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Flores Family. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Charles who was a co-worker and a friend. He greeted everyone with a smile and was always so willing to lend a helping hand. He was a true gentleman and treated everyone with such respect. He was funny and kind. And above all else, Charles loved his family the most. His eyes would light up when he spoke about them. Please know that he will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Charles. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. May God bless and watch over you always!
