Santiago Medina

Santiago Medina, 49, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, entered into eternal rest on October 12, 2021 at Memorial Hermann Medical Center in Houston, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on March 30, 1972.

He is preceded in death by his father Santana Medina and his brother Osvaldo Medina.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Maria Moncerrat Cantu Chapa; children Santiago (Dominique) Medina Jr., Brianna Marie Medina, Alexis Daniella Medina; siblings Santana Medina, Rosa Medina, Martha Medina, Irma “Vale†Medina, Mario Medina, Nora Medina, Alma L. (Greg) Garza, San Juana (Lorenzo) Sanchez, Rolando Medina, and Cesar Medrano; niece, Stephanie Garza (Carlos Alvarado Huerta); nephew, Gregg Garza; great-grandniece, Sophia Alvarado.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 1 PM to 8 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 1 PM at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 2426 Cullen Blvd., Pearland, Texas.
