Armando G. Sanchez of Brownsville Tx, Devoted husband, father, grandfather,brother and friend, entered into eternal rest June 22, 2021 at Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mexico on May 15th 1943.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus E. Sanchez and Leonor G. Sanchez as well as one sister, Esperanza S Mares.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Berta Sanchez; 2 sons, Armando Sanchez Jr. and Javier Sanchez; grandchildren, Lorenzo Alejandro Sanchez, Madeline Elise Sanchez & Ashley Mariey Sanche; his siblings, Jesus Sanchez, Alicia S Diaz, Consuelo Sanchez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
ARMANDO IN HIS YOUTH WAS VERY ATHLETIC. HE COMPETED IN SWIMMING AND TRACK. HE GRADUATED WITH A DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING AND WORKED AS AN ACCOUNTANT AS A YOUNG ADULT. IN 1966, HE MARRIED BERTA LOPEZ AND MOVED TO BROWNSVILLE. HE BECAME EMPLOYED AS AN ELECTRICIAN FOR THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE/TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT AND RETIRED AFTER 33 YEARS OF SERVICE. DURING HIS RETIREMENT HE CONTINUED ENJOYING HIS LIFE WITH HIS LOVELY SPOUSE, CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HIS FAVORITE PAST TIMES WERE FISHING, HUNTING, GARDENING, AND COOKING.
