Lourdes Castillo

Lourdes Castillo, 43, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mexico on August 7, 1977.

She is preceded in death by her father Jose Villarreal.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ramiro Castillo; mother Amelia Villarreal; children Briana Castillo and Joshua Castillo; siblings Petra Villarreal, Rosa Villarreal, and Jose Villarreal.

She was a charming woman, always smiling and full of love. She lit every room she walked in with her laugh and smile. As a registered nurse she used all her God giving attributes towards her patients. She loved traveling and especially shopping with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 4 to 8 PM with a prayer service at 6 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the end of the evening. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville. (956) 350-8485

    Lulu, You will trully be missed.
    It was great having you as a beautiful friend and I loved the times that you always tried to get us all together for lunch or just a social. Our Birthday Club was complete with you and your 2 Sister known as (Titas), always with a smile.
    You are gone but not forgotten, you left a beautiful memory to each one that knew you. RIP friend, till we meet again
