To the Family of Primo Fernando,

It was a true pleasure to visit and discuss our geneology with the center of attention always being your sense of humor. May your Tamayo, Galvan legacy continue on with your children. “La Guera” will miss you so much, for she never did anything without you, but family will help her cope with your loss. ‘Rest in peace, primo!”

    Prima Judi (J.Rod) Rodriguez

    Dear Perez family,

By chance a bit ago I came across Nando’s obituary as I (again) searched for Crucito’s. I grew up on Dan Street, so the Perezes were like family since a very long time ago. And, despite the years, I continue to regard them with great love, respect, and friendship. I feel immensely blessed to have known Nando, Crucito, Mary, and Fernando. They were salt of the earth; loving, heart-working folks with strong traditions and great-big hearts. No doubt, they must be rejoicing in heaven, talking up a storm, telling lots of funny stories, and reminiscing about the rest of us. God bless their sweet souls! And God bless your family and friends at this time of great loss.

Never. We never lose our loved ones. They accompany us; they don’t disappear from our lives. We are merely in different rooms (Paulo Coelho in Aleph).
