Connie Torres, 77, of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, mother in law and friend, entered into eternal rest Friday the 15th of April 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on the 21st of October 1943.
She is preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Maria Luisa Ramirez, her sister Esperanza Cortez, and brother Jimmy Ramirez.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Andy Torres, her two sons James and Steve Torres, her grandson Kitsune Torres, her sisters Bibi Maza and Alicia Hollaway, brothers Francisco Ramirez and Celso Ramirez, her daughters in law Myra Torres and Dr. Herminia Torres, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was a loving, caring and understanding soul. She always put others before herself and was happy doing it. Connie was that person who was always willing to listen if you needed her. Connie liked (loved) Red Cardinals (since she was a little girl) and taking drives in the rain. Her life was her husband, sons and their families, especially her grandson Kitsune.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday April 17th from 10:00 AM-11:00AM (family only) 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 657 Springmart Blvd. (956)350-8485.
