Elizabeth Rendon

Elizabeth Rendon, 85, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on August 5, 2020 at Windsor Arbor View surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mission, Texas on March 21, 1935. She is preceded in death by her parents Rafael Zamora and Elvira Leal and her sister Sylvia Rice.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Maribel (Jose Luis) Martinez, Norma Linda Chapa, Belinda (Manuel) Lozano, Ramiro Rendon Jr., Viola Elizabeth Rendon (The Late Joseph Perez); siblings Maria Amparo Martinez, Maria Zamora Leal, Rosie Carinhas; grandchildren Joe Louie Martinez, Justin Lewis Martinez, Marisa Linda (Emmanuel) Garcia, Baby Marcela Luisa Garcia, Clarisa Beth Chapa (Baby Khaiden Karim Gonzalez) Arturo Chapa Jr., Manuel Andres Lozano, Adrianna Veanae Lozano, Andrea Victoria Lozano, and Vasantha Marie Garcia.

Elizabeth was a very loving caring giving person. Her children and grandchildren were her number one priority till death. She loved Bingo and her favorite musician was the famous JOE LOPEZ. She loved music with a passion. She always said The Lord our God wanted us to sing to him and be happy. She was a God-fearing woman and prayed daily for everyone.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 1 to 7 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 12 noon at Buena Vista Burial Park. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Crematory & Flower Shop. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville. (956) 350-8485

    Ms. Rendon was such a lovely woman! Always spoke her mind and had the best interest of others in mind. I will forever remember her, may she rest in peace. My condolences to her daughters and the rest of her family. You will all be in my prayers❤
