He enjoyed camping and his property “up northâ€. He liked hunting and fishing. He liked to read and watch movies, mostly western. Most of all he enjoyed being with the kids and grandkids, watching their activities, trips, holidays and birthdays. He and Carole were able to spend part of 16 winters in Texas. He enjoyed being with his friend of 62 years, Jack, and assisting him in what needed to be done for his mission work. He enjoyed warm weather, his hammock, the beach, and trips into Mexico. Anyone who has spent time with Lee will probably remember him. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed.

I will miss my brother in law but am so excited that he is celebrating in heaven with his Lord Jesus Christ! He loved reading as did I and enjoyed those westerns on TV. I will remember motorcycles, waterskiing(ouch the sunburn!), Skipbo,a very special coffee mug ,triple berry pie – I could go on and on. Love you Lee! Keep the coffee pot on and I will try to bring the donuts when I see you again! Prayers to Carole, Nate and Vonda, Lisa and Lance, Sheilah and Troy, and all the grandchildren.

My deepest sympathy to and your family in Lee’s passing. At times like this I find the words to the song Finally Home going thru my mind ~ Just think of stepping on shore and finding it Heaven, of touching a hand and finding it God’s , of breathing new air and finding it celestial, of waking up in Glory and finding it home. My prayers for you in this time. Val VanDyke and Nels Jorgensen
