Rudy Jesse Falcon, 67, of Brownsville, Texas devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Raymondville, Texas on August 19, 1951.
He is preceded in death by his father Tiodolo Falcon; mother in law Maria Ruiz; uncle Gerald; aunt Jenny Mosley; sister in law Sylvia Weisberg, and his nephew John Phillip Clough.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Socorro Falcon; children Cynthia Sheets-Mixon (Darrel Mixon), Christy Lerma (Jaime Lerma), Judy F. Quiroga (Artemio Quiroga Jr.); grandchildren Geno Sheets, Alexi Sheets, Art Quiroga III, Daniel Quiroga, Christian Nathaniel Lerma, Samantha A. Quiroga, and Addison G. Lerma; siblings Teddy Falcon, Jaime Falcon, Belinda Vasquez, and Gilda Falcon.
Rudy Jesse Falcon was an incredible man, husband, father, and friend. He was not only a father to his 3 daughters but also to his son in laws, grandchildren and many more. He had a rebellious spirit and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He knew how to fix just about anything. We will all remember him as “Rudy MacGyverâ€. There will never be another man like him. And though he is gone he will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 1 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory-Flower Shop. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
