So sad to hear the passing our beloved cousin; I remember spending time with him at grandmother’s house on Madison Street and later at Tia Fela’s house on Boca Chica Boulevard in Brownsville, Texas. I was happy to have an extended conversation with him in 2015 at Tia Fela’s care home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Here I had the opportunity to ask questions about his life, and catch up with what was happening with him. My brothers and sisters always remembered him and talked about him even though we were separated by years and by distance. May he rest in peace.

Liz and Family, you have my deepest condolences. It has brought sadness that I will never get to see his sweet, blushing, smile again. He was always so respectful with Mom and Dad and had a great bond with my older brothers at one time. My last visit a few years ago was so pleasant. He shared a little bit of everyone important in his life, his kids and grandkids, and of course you Liz. He was also so glad to see Marcus that day. You could sense that it was a genuine happiness for Tommy to see Marcus or anyone from his extended family. Take care and may we meet with him again one day.

I’ve always had great memories of Tommy. When I moved to Dallas out of high school Ricky, Tommy and Liz took me under their wings and welcomed me to the family. RIP sweet cousin, I love you !!!
