Magdalena Bennett


Magdalena Bennett, 45, of Brownsville, Texas devoted wife, mother, sister and friend entered eternal rest on October 19, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents Eduardo Cordoba and Martina Hernandez, her brother Francisco Hernandez.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Leo Bennet, children Emmanuel (Paola), Osiel(Yazmin)Gomez, Nora(David)Bennett, Yvette Bennett, Leah Bennett, Lynn Lopez, Daynis Gomez, Francisco Javier Guevara and Jose Luis Garcia. Grandchildren Jimena, Emmanuel Jr., Romina, Osiel, Lea Magdalena and Mia Gomez, William Bennett, Mateo and Gioavana Torres, Isis Moran, Kaitlyn Bennett, Viviana Moreno, Santiago Hernandez, Ethan Martinez, Justin, Brittany and Madison Reynosa.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 23,2017 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lord of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lord of Divine Mercy Catholic Church with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

    Our deepest condolences to to Leo Bennett and family. May Magdalena now Rest In Peace for she is now pain free. May Our Heavenly Father grant our Cousin Leo the strength he needs to go thru these hard days.
