Eloisa Vanesa Flores, 45, returned to her heavenly home on Monday, February 27th surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with kidney disease. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Eloisa was born in Brownsville, Texas on August 19, 1971. She was the beloved daughter of Celedina Cisneros. Eloisa married the love of her life, Rolando Flores Sr. and God blessed them with their precious and only son Roland Flores Jr. Eloisa was a fifth-grade teacher at Longoria Elementary up until her early retirement last year. She was a lector since her teenage years and taught catechism classes at Holy Family Church for the past twenty plus years, many of which were alongside her husband. Eloisa is survived by her loving husband, Rolando Flores Sr, her precious son Rolando Flores Jr, her mother Celedina Cisneros, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and various God children. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue at Holy Family Church on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are her three cousins, Oscar Cantu Sr., Cesar Carlos Ayala and David Cantu, her brother-in-law David Flores and her two nephews Cris Cisneros Jr and Jacob Cisneros. 657 Springmart Blvd., Brownsville, Texas.     Estimada familia Flores. Mi mas sentido pesame. La muerte de un ser querido es uno de los golpes mas grandes que experimenta la familia y amigos intimos. En estos tiempos dificiles, muchos se preguntan si Dios se interesa por nosotros. La respuesta la podemos encontrar en la Biblia en 2 Corintios 1:3 donde se refiere a nuestro creador como “el Dios de todo Consuelo”. Nuestro creador desea lo mejor para toda la humanidad. Nos quiere tanto que nos promete una resurreccion en Juan 5:28,29. Imaginese volver a ver a

    My deepest condolences to Rolando, Little Roland, Delfina, Celina, her mom and all her extended family and friends! May you find resignation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Eloisa was a true warrior and a great person with a beautiful spirit . . . She will be missed . . . May she rest in peace!
