Maria Elena Trevino Vela, 69, of Brownsville, Texas, devoted sister, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rancho San Miguel, H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on April 27, 1947.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ramon and Elena Trevino, siblings: Nilda T. Galvan, Minerva T. Gonzalez, and Armando Trevino Vela.
Left to cherish her memory is her siblings: Miguel, Alfonso, Rafael, Josefina, Nidia, and numerous other family members.
As for Maria’s last wishes her casket will remain closed.
In lieu of flowers donations made be made to the family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a chapel service at 2:00 p.m. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory. (956) 350-8485
